The Property Manager will oversee the physical upkeep, operational maintenance, facility security, and environmental compliance of the hotel property. This role ensures all operational spaces, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house infrastructure meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and brand excellence while managing facilities operational budgets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance & Upkeep: Oversee routine preventative and corrective maintenance schedules across all guest areas, structural assets, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems, and plant operations.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party service contractors, equipment suppliers, and maintenance partners to ensure timely completion of repairs and service level compliance.
- Safety & Security Oversight: Ensure full compliance with fire safety norms, municipal building codes, health regulations, and property security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Inventory & Asset Tracking: Manage register logs, physical asset tracking, inventory of maintenance spares, and daily key and material movement controls.
- Staff Supervision & Operations: Lead, train, and schedule shift handovers for facility, maintenance,
and security personnel to ensure 24/7 operational coverage and quick issue resolution.
- Cost & Budget Management: Monitor utility consumption, operational repairs, and maintenance expenditures to align with the monthly allocated departmental budget.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in property management, engineering supervision, or facility operations within the hospitality or luxury real estate sector.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of building operations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, generator backups, fire safety equipment, and log register management).
- Leadership & Communication: Solid leadership skills with effective English and Hindi communication capabilities to manage teams and coordinate with vendors.
- Problem-Solving: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle emergency maintenance situations and guest feedback promptly.
Compensation & Perks
- Salary: ₹40,000 to ₹42,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: On-duty meals
