Media Star is building an AI-powered video entertainment platform for short, serialized video dramas. Using generative AI, we turn scripts into fully produced episodic series that viewers can binge, follow, and come back to. We are a lean, fast-moving team building a new kind of storytelling product from the ground up.

About the Role

As Growth & Content Marketing Executive, you will own audience growth for Media Star, getting our episodes in front of the right viewers and keeping them coming back. You will run organic content, paid campaigns, creator partnerships, and analytics, and feed what works back to Production to shape future content. You will report to the Promotion Lead, with real ownership of channels, campaigns, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and create promotional content (teasers, trailers, hooks, captions, short-form cuts) from finished episodes

- Own Media Star's presence on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other short-video platforms, including publishing and community engagement

- Maintain the content calendar in sync with Production's episode release schedule

- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, YouTube, and other platforms within set budgets

- Run A/B tests on thumbnails, titles, hooks, and creatives, and act on the results

- Identify, shortlist, and manage creator and influencer partnerships

- Track and analyse key metrics: views, watch time, CTR, follower growth, installs, retention, and acquisition cost

- Research trends, competitors,



and audience behaviour on short-drama and serialized-content platforms

- Prepare weekly marketing reports with clear insights on which formats and campaigns drive growth

- Work closely with Production to turn performance insights into better content

Requirements

- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, content marketing, or growth marketing

- Strong understanding of short-form platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and what makes a hook or thumbnail work

- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns (Meta Ads Manager, Google/YouTube Ads)

- Proficiency in short-form video editing (CapCut or similar) and graphic design (Canva or similar)

- Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, titles, and marketing copy

- Comfortable with analytics tools (GA4, YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights) and Excel/Google Sheets

- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication

- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change

Good to Have

- Experience marketing OTT, short-drama, or audio/video storytelling apps

- Experience with app-install or subscription growth campaigns

- Experience managing creator or influencer partnerships

- Certifications such as Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, or HubSpot

- A portfolio or links to content and campaigns you have run|
