We are setting up our manufacturing operations with a strong focus on quality, regulatory compliance, efficient production and scalable processes.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Plant Manager to lead the complete operations of our manufacturing facility in Junagadh. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Ayurvedic manufacturing, production planning, quality systems, manpower management, machinery and regulatory compliance, and will play a key role in building and scaling our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

- Manage day-to-day plant and production operations.
- Plan, schedule and monitor production to meet output and delivery targets.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
- Control production wastage and operational costs.

Team & Manpower Management

- Manage manpower, shift planning and workforce productivity.
- Lead, train and motivate production teams.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Quality, Procurement and Packaging teams for smooth operations.

Quality, Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality and safety standards.
- Develop, implement and update SOPs and plant processes.




- Maintain production records, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and plant documentation.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections and regulatory requirements.

Materials & Machinery

- Monitor raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate machinery installation, maintenance and servicing.

Safety & Reporting

- Maintain hygiene, safety and housekeeping standards across the plant.
- Prepare regular plant performance reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Ayurveda / Pharmaceutics) – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of GMP, Ayurvedic production processes, documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of manufacturing machinery and plant operations.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and plant manpower.
- Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in:

- Ayurvedic manufacturing
- Plant setup and machinery installation
- Production and manpower planning
- SOP development and quality compliance

Experience in setting up a new manufacturing facility will be a solid advantage.

Experience

5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Ayurvedic / Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
