We are looking for a technically qualified professional with practical knowledge of Patent/IPR filing, documentation and IP India Portal operations.

The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding inventions related to IT, Software, AI, Electronics, Communication and Electrical technologies and converting technical information into appropriate patent/IPR documentation.

Registered Patent Agent / Patent Attorney candidates will be given special preference, but this is not mandatory.

Candidates without Patent Agent qualification can also apply if they have strong practical experience in patent/IPR filing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and technically evaluate inventions related to IT, Software, AI, Electronics, Communication and Electrical technologies.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Provisional and Complete Patent Applications.
- Prepare Patent Forms, supporting documents and other IPR documentation.
- File and track applications through the IP India Portal.
- Maintain records and coordinate regarding FER, Examination Reports, Hearings and Patent Office communications.
- Assist in prior-art searches, patent searches and technical comparisons.
- Prepare and support Copyright and Trademark applications, including filing and tracking.
- Assist with Assignment, Transfer and Recordal documentation.
- Maintain systematic records of inventors' personal IPRs and Kafila Innovation Pvt. Ltd.'s IPR portfolio.
- Track significant statutory deadlines, including:
- Complete Specification deadlines
- Request for Examination (RFE)
- FER responses
- Patent hearings
- Renewals
- Other statutory deadlines




- Coordinate with Registered Patent Agents, Patent Attorneys, IPR professionals and other consultants whenever required.
- Maintain confidential and organized documentation of inventions, patents and related intellectual property.

Required Technical Background

Candidates should have a technical/educational background in one or more of the following:

- Information Technology (IT)
- Computer Science / Computer Engineering
- Electronics / Electronics & Communication (ECE)
- Communication / Telecommunication
- Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Software / Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Digital Technology
- Other relevant technical fields

Educational Qualifications

Candidates with B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, MCA, BCA, B.Sc. or other relevant technical qualifications may be considered.

Practical IPR/Patent knowledge and hands-on experience will be highly valued.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Practical knowledge of Indian Patent filing procedures
- Experience working on the IP India Portal
- Understanding of Patent, Trademark and Copyright filing procedures
- Knowledge of Patent Forms and supporting documentation
- Ability to understand technical inventions and prepare technical inputs for patent documentation
- Basic understanding of Patent Search / Prior-Art Search
- Good documentation and record-management skills
- Ability to track deadlines and manage multiple IPR matters
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with inventors, Patent Agents, Attorneys and other professionals

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
