Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Industry: Manufacturing | Mechanical Design | PEB & Fabrication

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the engineering and drafting team, ensure high-quality AutoCAD, fabrication and PEB drawings, and maintain smooth coordination between design, production, project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and mentor the design/drafting team.
- Prepare, review and validate engineering & fabrication drawings.
- Develop and review PEB drawings and documentation.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with production, project and site teams.
- Review designs for accuracy, tolerance and manufacturability.
- Manage ECOs, drawing revisions and technical clarifications.




- Ensure timely drawing releases as per project schedules.
- Resolve technical/drafting issues and provide hands-on guidance.

Required Skills

- Advanced AutoCAD & drafting skills.
- Robust knowledge of metal fabrication and welding symbols.
- Hands-on experience in PEB drawing preparation.
- Mechanical design and detailing knowledge.
- Team leadership and work delegation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred: Experience in heavy equipment, industrial fabrication or manufacturing.
