About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM / HAM Developer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design, development, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules. You will play a crucial role in building robust integration frameworks—specifically connecting ServiceNow with external Warehouse Management Systems—and delivering executive-level analytics, dashboards, and Workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. ServiceNow Development & Platform Configuration

- Design, build, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, enhancements, and custom features following platform scripting standards and upgrade-secure practices.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Flow Designer workflows, Service Catalog items, and Record Producers using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
- Customize ServiceNow tables, forms, lists, workspaces, and user interfaces to match business requirements while upholding security controls and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, integration failures, and performance bottlenecks.

2. Warehouse System Integrations & Inventory Synchronization

- Design and implement real-time and scheduled integrations between ServiceNow and external Warehouse Management Systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Import Sets,



Transform Maps, and SFTP/file-based methods.
- Configure API security and authentication frameworks (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, API Keys, Certificate-based authentication).
- Synchronize hardware inventory lifecycle data across both systems (e.g., Asset Tag, Serial Number, Manufacturer, Model, Asset State/Substate, Stockroom, Warehouse, Bin Location, PO Date, Deployment, Return, and Disposal status).
- Build automated inventory reconciliation workflows to flag and resolve discrepancies (missing/duplicate assets, mismatched serial numbers, stockroom discrepancies).
- Maintain complete audit trails and reconciliation logs for compliance and operational tracking.

3. Reporting, Analytics & Performance Analytics

- Design and configure operational, management, and executive-level reports, interactive dashboards, dynamic filters, and drill-down visualizations.
- Configure Performance Analytics (Indicators, Indicator Sources, Breakdown Sources/Elements, Targets, Thresholds, and Data Collection Jobs) to track key asset and service KPIs.
- Build frameworks to measure asset health, compliance, operational SLA achievement, and overall business metrics.

4. Workspace & Next Experience (UI Builder)

- Configure modern ServiceNow Workspaces using the Now Experience Framework and UI Builder.




- Customize workspace pages, declarative actions, client state parameters, and role-based views.
- (Bonus) Expose ServiceNow reporting and asset data to external platforms via outbound APIs.

Prerequisites & Mandatory Qualifications

- Certifications: Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory (must be able to provide the registered email ID associated with Webassessor/ServiceNow). ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly desirable.
- Shift Timing: Flexibility to work 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST or 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST.
- Work Model: Hybrid – Mandatory 3 days per week from the client office (Noida or Bangalore).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills to collaborate with solution architects, external vendor teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.

- Reporting: Performance Analytics, Interactive Dashboards, Workspace / UI Builder.
