Automotive Ethernet Test Engineer – IVI

Role Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Ethernet Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Ethernet networking features for automotive IVI/embedded platforms. The role involves test-case development, network validation, packet analysis, debugging, and protocol-level testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test cases for Automotive Ethernet features.
- Test Ethernet communication across L2/L3 networking, VLAN, TCP/IP and UDP.
- Validate Ethernet interfaces, switch configuration and network connectivity.
- Perform packet capture and analysis using Wireshark, pcap and tcpdump.
- Test and debug SOME/IP, IPv4/IPv6 and Ethernet communication.
- Perform network latency, throughput, stability and connectivity testing.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot Ethernet/networking issues.




- Work with developers, BSP, hardware and system integration teams.
- Support automotive Ethernet compliance/certification testing such as Open Alliance TC8.

Required Technical Skills

- 2–4 years of experience in Automotive Ethernet Testing / Embedded Networking Testing.
- Positive understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, VLAN, L2/L3.
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark, pcap/tcpdump.
- Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer or similar automotive testing tools.
- Knowledge of 100BASE-T1 / 1000BASE-T1.
- Understanding of SOME/IP and automotive communication.
- Experience in test-case preparation, execution, defect logging and debugging.
- Automotive IVI/ECU testing experience preferred.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
