Key Responsibilities

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the mechanical industry as a Design Engineer,
- Develop and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SOLIDWORKS
- Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabricated structures.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, specifications, and material details.
- Create sheet metal flat patterns and nesting layouts for manufacturing.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and component specifications.
- Perform product costing and material estimation based on design and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain and control design files, drawing revisions, engineering documents, and design records.
- Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) as per drawing and manufacturing requirements.

- Understand fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and assembly.
- Support the design and development of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Design and develop fabrication fixtures to improve manufacturing accuracy and productivity.
- Select appropriate manufacturing methods based on component design, material, quantity, and cost.
- Have basic knowledge of heat treatment processes and their impact on material properties and component performance.
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost effectiveness, quality, and ease of assembly.
- Implement design changes based on production feedback and engineering requirements.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
