Role Overview

FirstMatrix Solutions is looking for an experienced and motivated Java Developer with 6 months to 1 year of practical development experience.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and enhancing Java-based software applications. The role also involves understanding client requirements, explaining project features, conducting project demonstrations, and supporting client-facing activities when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications.
- Work with Core Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
- Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Develop new features, modules, and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and bug fixing.
- Support application deployment and maintenance.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
- Handle assigned project modules independently and complete tasks within the given timelines.
- Coordinate with the development team for smooth project execution.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Java programming.
- Good understanding of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections,



Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
- Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot will be preferred.
- Positive knowledge of REST API development and integration.
- Good understanding of MySQL / PostgreSQL and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of database operations and application connectivity.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting real-time applications.
- Knowledge of API authentication, security, and third-party API integration.
- Good understanding of Git and GitHub.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/server deployment will be an added advantage.
- Practical experience working on real-time Java projects is preferred.

Client Interaction & Project Explanation

The candidate should be comfortable with client-facing responsibilities, including:

- Understanding and gathering client requirements.
- Explaining project features, modules, and workflows to clients.
- Conducting software/project demonstrations.
- Participating in client meetings and technical discussions.
- Explaining technical concepts and project functionality in a simple and professional manner.
- Supporting requirement gathering and project discussions.




- Assisting with project-related marketing and client presentation activities when required.

Travel Requirement

- The candidate should be willing to travel to client locations in and around Bangalore for project demonstrations, requirement discussions, meetings, and other official activities.
- Travel may be required for project explanation, client meetings, demonstrations, and marketing-related activities.
- Official travel expenses will be provided/reimbursed by the company as per company policy.

Candidate Profile

- 6 months to 1 year of relevant Java development experience.
- Good technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Professional and confident while interacting with clients.
- Ability to understand client requirements and explain technical solutions clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for official client meetings and project demonstrations.
- Candidates who can communicate in multiple languages will be preferred.
- Should have a professional attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field with relevant Java development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on real-time Java projects.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
