Crystal Scientific Publishers is an open-access academic publishing organization focused on publishing research articles across science, technology, medicine, environmental science, physics, applied science, and artificial intelligence.

We are looking for an experienced Academic Publishing Executive – Author Outreach who has previously worked in scholarly publishing and understands communication with researchers, authors, editors, and academic professionals.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and communicate with researchers, academics, scientists, and potential authors.

· Conduct skilled email outreach to researchers regarding manuscript submissions and journal opportunities.

· Develop and maintain author/researcher contact databases.

· Invite suitable researchers to submit original research articles, review articles, and manuscripts.

· Promote Calls for Papers (CFPs) and journal Special Issues.

· Follow up professionally with prospective authors and existing contributors.

· Handle author inquiries related to manuscript submission and publication.

· Coordinate with editorial teams regarding prospective submissions.

· Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, responses, and submissions.

· Support international author communication and relationship management.

· Assist in increasing legitimate manuscript submissions to the publisher's journals.





· Prepare and distribute professional author-outreach campaigns.

· Monitor email responses and maintain regular follow-ups.

Required Experience

2–5 years of skilled experience in academic or scholarly publishing is strongly preferred.

Candidates should have previous experience in one or more of the following:

· Academic journal publishing

· Scholarly publishing

· Author acquisition / author outreach

· Journal marketing

· Editorial coordination

· Research publication services

· Academic publishing business development

· Call-for-Papers campaigns

· Researcher/author communication

Essential Skills

· Strong professional English communication

· Excellent email-writing skills

· Experience communicating with researchers and academics

· Knowledge of academic journal publishing workflows

· Ability to conduct structured email outreach and follow-ups

· Database and spreadsheet management

· Good understanding of manuscripts, peer review, journals, ISSN, DOI, and publication processes

· Ability to work independently and meet monthly targets

· Professional and ethical communication with authors

· Ability to work effectively in a Work From Home environment

Preferred Candidate Profile





Candidates who have previously worked with academic publishers, journal-publishing companies, editorial service providers, or scholarly communication organizations are encouraged to apply.

Experience with international authors and researchers will be an advantage.
