In this role, you will bridge the gap between civil foundation readiness and superstructure installation. You will be responsible for end-to-end on-site execution, ensuring that all pre-engineered buildings (PEB), structural steel components, and roofing systems are fabricated and erected safely, on schedule, and in strict compliance with engineering drawings. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Key Responsibilities1. Structural Fabrication & Quality Control

- Workshop & Site Fabrication: Oversee the cutting, shaping, fitting, and welding of steel sections (I-beams, channels, angles, and trusses) according to design specifications. [1]
- Material Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials, structural steel, panels, and high-strength bolts to ensure they meet project standards. [1]
- Welding & NDT Standards: Supervise welding processes and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) like DP or magnetic particle tests to verify weld integrity.

2. Erection & Site Execution

- Civil Alignment & Surveying: Verify anchor bolt casting, foundation levels, and centerline alignments before starting structural installation.
- Superstructure Assembly: Supervise the safe hoisting, positioning, leveling, and bolting of columns, rafters, purlins, and bracing.
- Industrial Shed/PEB Roofing: Oversee the installation of sheeting, sandwich panels, cladding, insulation,



and flashing for industrial sheds and warehouses.
- Heavy Equipment Management: Coordinate crane placements, rigging plans, and heavy machinery operations for safe lifting heights and loads. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

3. Drawings, Documentation & Planning

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex structural, fabrication, shop, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site measurement books, and material consumption trackers.
- Billing & Requisitions: Raise material requisitions timely and verify contractor billing against actual on-site structural execution. [1, 2, 3]

4. Safety & Labor Management

- HSE Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols, including working-at-height permits, life-line installations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications Educational & Experience Requirements

- Degree: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or Structural Engineering).

Technical Skill Set

- Deep understanding of steel connections (bolted vs. welded frames) and structural stability.
- Proficient in reading Tekla, AutoCAD, or design blueprints.
