Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality video content for Jesus Calls’ ministry programs, social media, events, campaigns, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, reels, shorts, and other digital platforms.
- Edit ministry programs, testimonies, interviews, event highlights, promotional videos, and campaign content.
- Create engaging short-form videos/reels with appropriate cuts, transitions, text, graphics, music, and effects.
- Add subtitles, captions, titles, lower thirds, and other visual elements.
- Ensure proper audio-video synchronization, colour correction, sound quality, and overall visual consistency.
- Work with the Media, Content, and Creative teams to understand requirements and deliver videos within timelines.
- Select and organize relevant footage, music, images, and other media assets.
- Adapt videos into different formats and aspect ratios for various platforms.
- Maintain proper file organization, project files, backups, and video archives.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends, social media formats, and audience preferences.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of video editing and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
- Working knowledge of FCP, After Effects, Photoshop,



and/or DaVinci Resolve will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, colour correction, sound editing, and subtitles.
- Good understanding of YouTube and social media video formats.
- Good visual sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand a brief and independently execute the edit.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film Making, Media, Animation, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in video editing.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio/showreel may also be considered based on their skills.

Preferred

- Experience in editing ministry, event, corporate, documentary, interview, or social media content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Experience working with large volumes of video footage.
- Ability to create compelling edits that communicate a clear message and emotional impact.
