Job Summary

We are looking for an OT Technician to support the clinical team with operating theatre preparation and day-to-day theatre activities at our healthcare facility in Hebbal, Bangalore. Candidates with previous hospital or surgical-centre experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the operating theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Ensure required instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.
- Assist doctors and nursing staff during procedures as directed.
- Follow appropriate procedures for sterilization, disinfection, and handling of surgical instruments.
- Check OT equipment and report any issues to the concerned team.
- Maintain proper records related to OT activities, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure instruments and materials are handled safely and systematically.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the OT workplace according to established protocols.




- Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, and other support teams for smooth OT operations.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and hospital procedures at all times.

Requirements

- Diploma / degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Hospital or operation theatre experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of surgical instruments, OT procedures, and sterilization practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly and responsibly in a clinical environment.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Candidates available to join at short notice are preferred.
