Roles & Responsibilities – PGT Psychology
- Plan and deliver effective Psychology lessons for senior secondary classes as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Use interactive, experiential, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, marks, attendance, and other required documentation.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through revision, practice, and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Develop students’ understanding of psychological concepts through case studies, activities, discussions, and real-life examples.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support and guidance.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing emotional awareness, interpersonal skills, and healthy coping strategies within the teacher’s skilled role.
- Coordinate with parents, class teachers, coordinators, and school counsellors regarding students’ academic progress and concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, workshops, training programmes, and school events.
- Contribute to subject enrichment activities, projects, exhibitions, seminars, and inter-school competitions.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and compliance with school academic policies and CBSE guidelines.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school authorities.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
