About the Role

Ishmat Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to manage, develop, customize, and optimize our Shopify-based e-commerce website.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify themes, apps, APIs, and e-commerce integrations. The candidate will work closely with the E-commerce, Design, Marketing, and Management teams to ensure a high-performing, user-friendly, and visually appealing online store.

Key Responsibilities1. Shopify Development & Customization

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop new website sections, landing pages, product pages, and collection pages.
- Implement custom features and functionality based on business requirements.
- Ensure website design is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and technical issues.

2. Website Performance & Optimization

- Improve website speed, performance, usability, and conversion rate.
- Optimize images, code, apps, and website components for faster loading.
- Identify and fix technical issues affecting website performance.
- Ensure smooth navigation and a seamless customer experience.

3. Shopify Apps & Integrations

- Install, configure, customize, and manage Shopify apps.
- Integrate third-party tools and services with Shopify.
- Manage integrations related to:
- Payment gateways
- Shipping & logistics
- Inventory
- Marketing
- Customer reviews
- Analytics
- CRM and other business tools
- Evaluate and recommend suitable apps based on business requirements.

4. E-commerce Website Management

- Manage website structure, menus, collections, product pages, and promotional sections.




- Support the E-commerce team in product uploads and website updates.
- Implement promotional banners, offers, discount campaigns, and landing pages.
- Ensure product information, pricing, images, and website content are displayed correctly.
- Support new product launches and collection launches.

5. SEO & Analytics

- Implement basic technical SEO best practices on Shopify.
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, URLs, headings, images, and site structure.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic and conversions.

6. Technical Support & Security

- Monitor the website for technical errors and functionality issues.
- Troubleshoot checkout, payment, app, theme, and integration-related problems.
- Maintain website backups and ensure safe implementation of updates.
- Coordinate with external developers or technology vendors when required.
- Ensure the website remains secure, stable, and up to date.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Shopify development.
- Solid knowledge of Shopify Liquid.
- Good knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- JSON
- Shopify APIs
- Experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
- Experience integrating and managing Shopify apps.
- Good understanding of responsive web design.




- Knowledge of e-commerce website architecture and customer journeys.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of website performance and optimization.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Shopify Plus will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Shopify Store 2.0 and Online Store 2.0.
- Experience with custom Shopify sections and reusable components.
- Knowledge of third-party API integrations.
- Experience with payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Experience in Fashion / Apparel / Lifestyle / D2C e-commerce.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on Shopify Developer who can independently manage the technical side of our e-commerce website.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand business requirements, convert them into effective Shopify solutions, troubleshoot issues quickly, and continuously improve the website's performance, functionality, design, and customer experience.

A candidate with experience in a fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or D2C brand will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
