Job Description – Dance Teacher

Position: Dance Teacher
Location: School / Educational Institution
Employment Type: Full time

Job Responsibilities:

- Teach dance to students from different age groups and skill levels.
- Plan and conduct regular dance classes and practice sessions.
- Train students in various dance forms such as Classical, Western, Contemporary, Bollywood, Folk, and Freestyle.
- Prepare students for school functions, annual programs, competitions, cultural events, and special occasions.
- Create engaging and age-appropriate choreography.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during practice sessions.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity, rhythm, coordination, and stage presence.
- Coordinate with school management and other teachers for cultural activities.




- Assess students' performance and provide constructive feedback.

Eligibility:

- Graduate / Diploma / Certification in Dance or Performing Arts preferred.
- Relevant teaching or professional dance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of one or more recognized dance forms.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Candidates with stage-performance and choreography experience will be preferred.
