Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions, contributing significantly to our platform's evolution and technical strategy.
Job Description:
1. Lead the design and implementation of complex software features and microservices using Java, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
2. Architect and develop solutions leveraging AWS cloud services, including AWS Lambda for serverless functions, AWS RDS for database management, and AWS S3 for scalable object storage.
3. Drive technical discussions, perform in-depth code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and architects to define technical requirements, scope projects, and deliver integrated functionalities.
5. Ensure the development of clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
6. Contribute to the architectural evolution of our microservices-based platform, identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative solutions.
7. Participate in on-call rotations, providing expert production support and proactively resolving complex technical issues to maintain system stability.
8. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for new and existing systems, facilitating knowledge sharing and future development efforts.
9. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools, advocating for their adoption to enhance system capabilities and development efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8-12 years of professional experience in software development,
with a strong focus on Java.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically AWS Lambda, AWS RDS, and AWS S3.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and API design (RESTful).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts.
