Sourcing Intern (R&D;)

Key Responsibilities

- Research and shortlist new product ideas and trending items based on market and customer demand.
- Find and list potential suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers through online platforms and offline markets.
- Collect quotes, MOQs, pricing, lead times, and samples from vendors and compare them.
- Support R&D; in evaluating product quality, specifications, and packaging options.
- Maintain organized sourcing sheets and vendor databases in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Follow up with suppliers on samples, pricing updates, and delivery timelines.
- Track competitor products and pricing to support sourcing decisions.
- Share weekly updates on research findings and sourcing progress with the team.

Requirements

- Recent graduate or final-year student in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- No prior experience required; curiosity and willingness to learn are a must.




- Good research skills and comfort with online platforms such as IndiaMART, Alibaba, and Google.
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Explicit communication skills for speaking and writing to vendors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following up until the task is done.

Good to Have

- Basic understanding of costing, MOQ, and negotiation.
- Interest in e-commerce, consumer products, or supply chain.
- Knowledge of Hindi or a regional language for supplier communication.
