JOB DESCRIPTION – FINANCE MANAGER

Position: Finance Manager
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Management / Director
Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Finance Manager to manage the company’s financial operations, accounting activities, cash flow, budgeting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate should ensure accurate financial records and provide timely financial insights to management for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, receivables, and payables.
- Monitor project-wise income and expenses, particularly for construction and interior projects.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor customer collections and outstanding payments.
- Manage vendor payments and payment schedules.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Review bank statements and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Monitor company expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
- Establish and maintain proper financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, expense claims, and payment requests.
- Support payroll processing and employee-related financial matters.
- Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards,



tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and business information.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience in the construction, real estate, or interiors industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Positive working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
