Full job description
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock/materials against purchase orders and invoices
Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and/or software-based)
Organize and arrange stock systematically in the store for easy access Issue materials/goods as per requisition and maintain issue records
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Monitor stock levels and reorder points; raise indent/purchase requests when needed
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storeroom
Prepare and submit periodic stock reports to management
Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and other departments as required
