Position : Senior Engineer – Vibration Analysis / Condition Monitoring

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for vibration measurement, machinery condition monitoring, vibration analysis, troubleshooting and predictive maintenance activities at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform vibration measurements and condition monitoring of rotating machinery.
- Analyze vibration data using FFT spectrum, waveform, phase and trend analysis.
- Identify machinery faults such as unbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, looseness, resonance and gear faults.
- Conduct machinery health assessments and troubleshooting.
- Support energetic balancing of rotating equipment.
- Support laser shaft/coupling alignment activities.
- Prepare technical inspection and vibration analysis reports.
- Provide recommendations for corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Interact with customers and maintenance teams to understand equipment-related problems.
- Travel to customer sites for inspections, troubleshooting and service activities.
- Maintain equipment history and condition-monitoring records.
- Support technical training and consultancy assignments when required.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of rotating machinery and mechanical systems.
- Practical understanding of vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
- Knowledge of FFT, spectrum, waveform and phase analysis.
- Understanding of bearings, motors, pumps, fans, compressors, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.




- Knowledge of predictive maintenance / condition-based maintenance.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel to industrial customer sites.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical (First Preferred) , Mechatronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or related engineering disciplines.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in:

- Vibration Analysis
- Condition Monitoring
- Predictive Maintenance
- Rotating Equipment Maintenance
- Reliability Engineering
- Dynamic Balancing
- Shaft/Coupling Alignment

Candidates with ISO 18436-2 / Vibration Analyst Category I or II certification or equivalent certification will be preferred.
