Job Description – Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for manpower supervision, work execution, material coordination, quality monitoring, safety compliance, and ensuring work is completed as per drawings and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Allocate work to workers, helpers, and subcontractor teams.
- Monitor manpower attendance, productivity, and work progress.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors, Vendors, and other site personnel.
- Check measurements and ensure proper execution of work.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship at site.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of construction materials.
- Maintain daily progress and manpower reports.
- Identify site issues and immediately report them to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and protected working conditions.
- Ensure workers follow PPE and site safety requirements.
- Coordinate material requirements with the concerned team to avoid work delays.
- Monitor subcontractor work and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.




- Assist the Site Engineer in resolving day-to-day site issues.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are used properly.
- Maintain discipline among workers and ensure compliance with company/site rules.
- Support the team during inspections, measurements, and client/consultant visits.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of construction site activities and execution.
- Ability to supervise and manage workers effectively.
- Knowledge of basic construction drawings and measurements.
- Good understanding of construction materials and tools.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify site-level issues and report them promptly.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: ITI / Diploma / equivalent qualification in Civil or relevant trade preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant construction/site supervision experience.
- Experience in building, civil, PEB, or industrial construction will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
