Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Field Sales to develop new business, generate leads and acquire customers across Chennai.

The candidate will be responsible for field visits, customer meetings, lead generation, product presentation, follow-ups and converting prospects into business.

This is a field sales role, so candidates must be comfortable travelling across Chennai and meeting customers regularly.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits.
- Visit prospective customers, dealers, contractors, builders, architects and other business prospects.
- Generate leads through direct visits, referrals, networking and market research.
- Meet customers and understand their requirements.
- Explain and present company products/services to prospective customers.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the internal team where required.
- Follow up with prospects and convert enquiries into orders.
- Maintain regular relationships with existing customers.




- Achieve monthly sales and business development targets.
- Maintain daily field-visit and customer follow-up reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Estimation, Production and Installation teams for customer requirements.
- Track enquiries from initial contact until order closure.
- Monitor competitor activity and market opportunities.
- Expand the company's customer base within Chennai.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 1–5 years of experience in Business Development / Field Sales / Direct Sales.
- Experience in B2B sales or building/construction-related products is preferred.
- Candidates from industries such as:
- uPVC / Aluminium Doors & Windows
- Building Materials
- Glass
- Construction Products
- Interior / Architectural Products
- Hardware
- Modular / Building Solutions
- Electrical / Engineering products
- Other B2B field-sales industries
- Strong customer-facing and negotiation skills.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Must be comfortable with regular field travel within Chennai.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence mandatory.
- Knowledge of Chennai market is an advantage.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
