Senior Consultant (DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & Cloud Platform)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Consultant with robust expertise in Kubernetes, Containerization, CI/CD Automation, Cloud Platforms, and Infrastructure Automation. The candidate will be responsible for enabling cloud-native deployments, driving DevOps best practices, automating release processes, and supporting application modernization initiatives across enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Kubernetes ecosystem management, deployment automation, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & Platform Engineering

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
- Support cloud-native application deployment and modernization initiatives.
- Develop reusable deployment templates and automation frameworks.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and availability.

Kubernetes Administration

- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
- Manage namespaces, ingress controllers, services, deployments, and scaling policies.
- Monitor cluster performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot application and platform-related issues.
- Implement Kubernetes security and governance best practices.

Containerization

- Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes standards.
- Support development teams in adopting container-based deployment strategies.




- Maintain container registries and image lifecycle management.

Infrastructure Automation

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
- Maintain cloud infrastructure and platform configurations.
- Support environment creation and management activities.

Monitoring & Observability

- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Create operational dashboards and performance metrics.
- Perform proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Support performance tuning and capacity planning.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Work closely with architects, developers, testing teams, and operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Participate in architecture reviews, release planning, and production readiness activities.
- Drive DevOps best practices across project teams.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Kubernetes Administration
- Hands-on expertise with Docker and Containerization
- Experience building and managing CI/CD Pipelines
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and GitLab
- Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment automation
- Strong Linux Administration skills
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace,



and Splunk
- Strong understanding of Networking Concepts
- DNS
- Load Balancers
- TLS/SSL
- Reverse Proxies
- Ingress Controllers
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting critical deployments

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud-native application architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot and .NET application deployments.
- Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes package management.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale migration and transformation programs.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and platform optimization.

Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes and container platform experience.
- Strong experience in DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and release management.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
