Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care
- Receive and attend to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assess and record the patient's general condition and vital signs.
- Measure and document blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, SpO₂, weight and other relevant parameters.
- Identify and promptly report abnormal findings to the doctor.
- Provide appropriate nursing care as per the patient's condition and doctor's instructions.
- Assist patients before, during and after consultations and procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding prescribed treatment and follow-up care.
2. Doctor Assistance
- Assist the doctor during consultations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and required equipment before procedures.
- Ensure necessary instruments, consumables and supplies are available.
- Assist with minor procedures as directed by the doctor.
- Maintain aseptic technique during clinical procedures.
- Ensure proper cleaning and preparation of the procedure area after use.
3. Medication Management
- Administer medications and injections strictly as prescribed and within the nurse's scope of practice.
- Verify the correct patient, medication, dose, route and timing before administration.
- Check medication expiry dates and storage conditions.
- Maintain appropriate medication records.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and immediately inform the doctor of any concerns.
- Maintain medication and injection stock records as assigned.
4. Clinical Procedures
- Perform nursing procedures according to clinic protocols and professional standards.
- Assist with IV administration/other procedures when appropriately trained and authorized.
- Perform wound dressing and basic wound care as prescribed.
- Collect and handle specimens according to clinic protocols.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic investigations when required.
- Ensure appropriate disposal of clinical waste and sharps.
5. Infection Prevention & Control
- Follow hand hygiene and standard precautions at all times.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain cleanliness and infection-control standards in treatment areas.
- Ensure proper sterilization/disinfection of reusable instruments according to clinic protocols.
- Follow biomedical waste segregation and disposal procedures.
- Report any infection-control concerns immediately.
6. Patient Monitoring & Emergency Support
- Monitor patients during and after procedures or medication administration.
- Recognize and promptly report deterioration in a patient's condition.
- Provide immediate nursing support during medical emergencies.
- Assist the doctor with emergency management.
- Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are readily available and checked regularly.
- Maintain emergency preparedness according to clinic policy.
7. Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing records.
- Record vital signs, procedures, medications and relevant observations.
- Maintain treatment and procedure documentation.
- Ensure patient records are complete and updated.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
8. Patient Education & Communication
- Explain routine procedures to patients in a clear and reassuring manner.
- Provide instructions regarding medication, diet, follow-up and care as directed by the doctor.
- Encourage patients to follow prescribed treatment plans.
- Communicate professionally with patients and their attendants.
- Address routine nursing-related queries and escalate clinical concerns to the doctor.
9.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Monitor nursing supplies, consumables and medical equipment.
- Check availability and expiry dates of essential clinical supplies.
- Report shortages or damaged equipment to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain appropriate stock records.
- Ensure clinical equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored properly.
10. Coordination & Clinic Operations
- Coordinate with doctors, reception, administration and accounts teams when required.
- Assist in maintaining smooth patient flow.
- Participate in health camps, screening programs and clinic activities when assigned.
- Follow clinic policies, SOPs and safety procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings and training programs.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good clinical and nursing skills.

- Good knowledge of infection prevention and control.

- Ability to work effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.
- Current registration and required professional credentials must be maintained as per applicable regulations.
Experience
- 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in a clinic, hospital, outpatient department or specialty clinic is an advantage.
- Freshers with appropriate qualifications and registration may be considered based on clinic requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
