JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and well-qualified PRT English Teacher to join our Cambridge Primary School. The candidate will create an engaging, supportive learning environment, develop students' English language skills, and implement effective Cambridge-aligned teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, and assessments.
- Use age-appropriate, innovative, and activity-based teaching methodologies.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide constructive feedback and support students' individual learning needs.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, communication, and independent learning.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and appropriate teaching aids into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, activities, workshops, and professional development programmes.




- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers for academic planning and school activities.
- Maintain classroom documentation and other academic records as required by the school.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- B.Ed (pursuing or completed) preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of the Cambridge Primary curriculum and teaching methodologies will be an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Experience teaching primary-level students is preferred.
