Role & responsibilities
· Layout and Typesetting: Designing the interior pages, including page numbering, chapter starts, margins, and gutters.
· Typography Selection: Selecting appropriate fonts for legibility and aesthetic, setting up hierarchy for titles, headers, and body text.
· Image Handling: Placing, editing, and optimizing images, illustrations, or graphics for print or digital formats.
· Design Development: Creating initial, creative concepts and, for covers, aligning them with marketing goals.
· Production Prep: Preparing final files for print (pre-press) or e-book conversion, ensuring color management and bleed requirements are met.
· Collaboration: Working with editors, authors, and publishers to revise drafts based on feedback.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
