JOB DESCRIPTION – WAREHOUSE MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage daily warehouse operations covering imported goods, components, WIP and finished goods.

* Manage receipt, unloading and verification of imported consignments/containers against packing lists and relevant documents.

* Handle material inward, GRN, identification/tagging, storage, picking, issue, transfer and outward/dispatch.

* Maintain accurate SKU-wise and location-wise inventory records and ensure physical stock matches ERP/system stock.

* Ensure proper rack/bin/location management, FIFO, material traceability and optimum space utilization.

* Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verification and ensure timely reconciliation of discrepancies.

* Monitor and report shortages/excess quantities, transit or handling damages, stock discrepancies, wastage and slow/non-moving inventory.

* Coordinate with Import/Purchase, Production/Assembly, Quality, Accounts and Dispatch teams.





* Ensure timely availability and accurate picking of materials/goods for production, assembly and dispatch.

* Supervise warehouse staff and ensure proper work allocation, productivity and discipline.

* Maintain warehouse 5S, safety, cleanliness and safe material-handling practices.

* Prepare daily/weekly reports covering inventory, inward, discrepancies and dispatch status.

REQUIREMENTS

* Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.

* 3–7 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering workplace.

* Experience in handling imported/containerized goods and large/heavy products will be preferred.

* Positive knowledge of inventory management, GRN, SKU control, FIFO, stock reconciliation, MS Excel and ERP/software.

* Strong team-management, coordination and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with gym equipment, machinery or metal/engineering products will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
