Scaleup Stories is a platform focused on uncovering and sharing the journeys of ambitious startups, founders, and companies as they build, scale, and navigate the challenges of growth.

We are looking for a curious and highly driven Research Intern who enjoys discovering interesting companies, digging into business stories, talking to people, and turning research into compelling insights and stories.

What You’ll Do

- Research startups, scaleups, founders, industries, and emerging business trends.
- Identify engaging companies and stories worth featuring on Scaleup Stories.
- Conduct detailed desk research using company websites, news articles, LinkedIn, databases, podcasts, interviews, and other public sources.
- Build company and founder profiles covering their journey, product, market, business model, funding, growth, challenges, and milestones.
- Support research for founder interviews and prepare thoughtful interview questions.
- Speak with founders, operators, investors, and industry experts when required.
- Fact-check information and maintain high research accuracy.
- Convert research findings into concise briefs, story outlines, and content ideas.
- Track interesting developments across startups, technology, business, and entrepreneurship.
- Help build and maintain a database of companies, founders, investors, and industry insights.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to distinguish useful information from noise.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of research projects.




- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear, structured insights.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search, Google Sheets/Docs, LinkedIn, Notion, and other research tools.
- Willingness to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

- Experience in content research, journalism, market research, consulting, business analysis, or startup ecosystems.
- Familiarity with startup databases and tools such as Crunchbase, Tracxn, PitchBook, or similar platforms.
- Experience conducting interviews or writing articles, newsletters, blogs, or social media content.
- Basic understanding of startup metrics, fundraising, venture capital, SaaS, AI, and technology businesses.

You will play an important role in finding the stories behind companies and helping the Scaleup Stories team turn those stories into valuable content for founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem.

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
