About the Role

ISIEINDIA is looking for a technically skilled and field-oriented Service Engineer – Solar & EV to handle installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and demonstration of Solar and EV systems, equipment, and training workbenches.

The role involves regular Pan India travel for service and technical assignments. During periods without field service, the engineer will support the technical/training team through practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions for trainees.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot Solar and EV systems/equipment.
- Carry out servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support at customer/project sites.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, wiring, and equipment-related issues.
- Conduct demonstrations and provide technical explanations to customers, trainees, and internal teams.
- Handle installation and servicing of EV workbenches, EV training equipment, solar training systems, and related components.
- Perform testing, inspection, and basic calibration of equipment.
- Provide practical exposure and hands-on demonstrations to trainees when there are no service assignments.
- Support trainers during technical sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations.
- Prepare service reports, installation reports, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with technical, training, production,



and project teams for timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure proper handling, safety, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Travel Pan India as required for installation, service, commissioning, and training activities.

Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge of Solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, wiring, and electrical protection systems.
- Knowledge of EV systems, batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, BMS, and basic EV electrical architecture.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuits.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills using basic electrical testing instruments.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, earthing, protection, and safe equipment handling.
- Basic understanding of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Solar, EV, electrical equipment, installation, commissioning, or field service.
- Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable communication and demonstration skills.
- Comfortable with Pan India travel.
- Ability to work independently at customer/project sites.
- Experience in technical training or practical demonstrations will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in both Solar and EV will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
