Job Summary:

We are looking for an ERP Product Specialist – Support & Implementation who can understand ERP not just as software, but as a complete business solution. who has a strong understanding of ERP software, ERP modules, business processes, system workflows, implementation, configuration, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand how ERP solutions help businesses streamline operations, simplify processes, improve productivity, centralize information, and make better business decisions.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, map them to appropriate ERP functionalities, conduct effective product demonstrations, support ERP implementation and configuration, provide user training, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful product adoption.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in ERP Support, ERP Implementation, Functional Consulting, Application Support, Product Support, ERP Software, or Business Process Consulting who want to build deeper expertise in ERP products and client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ERP Product & Module Expertise

- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of MUSTERP ERP software, modules, features, workflows, configurations, and functionalities.
- Understand how different ERP modules work individually and together to support business operations.
- Understand the practical business applications and advantages of ERP modules.
- Stay updated with new features, releases, integrations, workflows, and product enhancements.

2. Business Process Understanding

- Understand different business processes and identify how ERP can simplify and streamline them.
- Analyse client processes, workflows, operational requirements, and pain points.
- Explain how ERP functionality can improve efficiency, visibility, control, and process management.
- Map business requirements with relevant ERP modules and functionalities.

3. ERP Product Demonstrations

- Conduct professional and effective ERP product demonstrations for prospective clients, existing clients, partners, and visiting teams.
- Demonstrate relevant ERP modules, workflows, features, and business use cases based on client requirements.
- Explain complex ERP concepts and functionalities in a simple and understandable manner.
- Handle functional queries during demonstrations and provide appropriate product explanations.
- Customize demonstrations according to the client's industry, business process,



and requirements.

4. Requirement Gathering & Solution Mapping

- Interact with clients to understand functional, technical, operational, and business requirements.
- Gather and document requirements for ERP implementation, configuration, customization, integration, and support.
- Analyse client requirements and identify suitable ERP modules and workflows.
- Prepare clear requirement details for Product, Development, QA, and Implementation teams.

5. ERP Implementation & Configuration

- Support ERP implementation, deployment, configuration, and setup activities.
- Assist with user creation, role and access configuration, module configuration, master data setup, system settings, and workflow configuration.
- Support clients during implementation and ensure that the configured system meets business requirements.
- Visit client locations when required for implementation and related activities.

6. Client Support & Troubleshooting

- Provide functional and application support to clients and internal users.
- Troubleshoot ERP application issues, configuration errors, workflow problems, access issues, UI-related issues, and other product-related concerns.
- Provide appropriate solutions, workarounds, or guidance based on the nature of the issue.
- Handle Tier-1 and Tier-2 product/application support where required.

7. User Training & Product Onboarding

- Conduct online and in-person ERP user training and onboarding sessions.
- Train users on system navigation, ERP modules, workflows, processes, and best practices.
- Explain the practical use of ERP functionalities according to the user's business requirements.
- Support users in adopting the system effectively after implementation.

8. Testing & Quality Checks

- Test new ERP features, modules, workflows, updates, patches, integrations, and product releases.
- Perform functional testing, workflow validation, regression testing, and UAT support where required.
- Identify functional issues, defects, edge cases, and usability concerns.
- Coordinate with QA and Development teams for issue resolution and retesting.

9. Demo & Test Environment Management

- Create and maintain ERP demo and test environments.
- Configure demo databases, users, sample data, workflows, and system settings.
- Ensure demo and test environments are ready for product demonstrations, training, testing, and client requirements.

10. Issue Analysis & Technical Coordination

- Analyze reported ERP issues and identify probable root causes.
- Clearly document issues, requirements, screenshots, steps to reproduce, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate with Development, Product, QA, and Implementation teams for investigation and resolution.
- Follow up on issues until appropriate resolution and closure.

11. Client Communication & Product Feedback

- Maintain professional communication with clients throughout implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting.
- Understand client feedback, concerns, and product improvement requirements.
- Identify recurring functional or usability issues and communicate actionable feedback to Product and Development teams.

13. Software Deployment & Updates

- Assist with ERP software updates, patches, configuration changes, and deployment activities.
- Support deployment across client, demo, and test environments as required.

14. Client Visits & Travel

- Travel to client locations as required for:
- ERP Implementation
- Product Demonstrations
- User Training
- Troubleshooting
- Client Support
- Requirement Gathering
- Business Process Understanding
- Client Meetings

15. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Product, Development, QA, Implementation, and Support teams.
- Coordinate effectively to ensure smooth ERP implementation, issue resolution, product delivery, and client adoption.
- Continuously improve ERP product knowledge and functional expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in ERP Support, ERP Implementation, ERP Functional Consulting, Application Support, Product Support, Software Support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ERP software and business processes.
- Good understanding of ERP modules, workflows, configurations, and system processes.
- Ability to understand client requirements and map them to ERP functionalities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good client interaction and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical and functional concepts in simple business language.
- Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
