We are looking for a skilled and motivated Estimation Engineer to join our team in the Electrical Control Panel / Switchgear industry.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations, studying customer requirements and tender documents, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely submission of offers.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical control panels, LT panels, MCC, PCC, APFC panels, and related electrical systems.
- Study customer specifications, drawings, BOQs, SLDs, and tender documents.
- Prepare material take-off (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations for electrical components and materials.
- Calculate material, labour, fabrication, testing, and other project costs.
- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Production, and Sales teams for accurate estimation.
- Ensure quotations are technically and commercially accurate.
- Maintain estimation records and costing data.
- Support the sales team with technical and commercial inputs.

Requirements

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.




- 2–5 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, estimation, costing, or related field.
- Good knowledge of electrical control panels and switchgear components.
- Ability to read and understand SLD, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Positive knowledge of electrical components such as MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, VFDs, meters, busbars, etc.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and costing skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates with experience in control panel / switchgear estimation will be preferred.
