We are looking for an experienced and hands-on SEO Team Lead with 3–4 years of experience in managing SEO activities and delivering organic growth.

The person should be comfortable working independently on SEO strategies as well as managing day-to-day tasks of junior SEO team members. You will be responsible for improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, website visibility, and overall SEO performance.

This is a hands-on role, so the candidate should be able to execute SEO activities themselves rather than only assign tasks to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and keyword rankings.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and identify new SEO opportunities.
- Manage On-Page SEO including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Perform regular Technical SEO audits and identify crawling, indexing, speed, and other website issues.
- Plan and execute Off-Page SEO and quality link-building activities.
- Coordinate with content and development teams for SEO implementation.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, leads, and other SEO KPIs.
- Manage and assign tasks to SEO executives and review their work.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports and share actionable insights.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and current SEO best practices.
- Ensure SEO activities and projects are completed within deadlines.

Reporting & Analytics:

- Monitor organic traffic, rankings, conversions, CTR, impressions, and other important SEO metrics.
- Use Google Search Console and GA4 to identify performance trends and issues.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports.
- Explain SEO performance and key actions to management/client stakeholders.
- Identify why traffic or rankings have increased/decreased and recommend corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

- 3–4 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- At least 1 year of experience handling or mentoring junior SEO team members is preferred.
- Strong understanding of On-Page, Technical, Content, and Off-Page SEO.
- Valuable understanding of Google Search and SEO best practices.
- Ability to independently identify SEO issues and suggest practical solutions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple websites/projects and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable working with content writers and developers.
- A data-driven approach to SEO rather than relying only on SEO tools.

Preferred Experience:

Candidates with experience in [E-commerce / SaaS / Lead Generation / Local SEO / International SEO] will be preferred.

Experience working on websites with 10,000+ pages, multiple locations, or large content libraries would be an added advantage.

- Growth in qualified organic traffic

- Organic leads/revenue/conversions
- Growth in organic visibility
- Improvement in CTR and Search Console performance
- Successful implementation of technical SEO recommendations

- Timely completion of SEO activities
- Productivity and development of the SEO team

Experience:

3–4 years of relevant SEO experience, with practical experience managing SEO campaigns and preferably guiding junior team members.

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a purely managerial position. The SEO Team Lead is expected to be hands-on with SEO audits, keyword research, content optimization, reporting, competitor analysis, and strategy execution, while also managing the team's day-to-day work.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
