Executive – Quality (Line Chemist) at Varun Beverages, Pathankot, responsible for in‑process and finished‑product testing, ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance, and supporting continuous improvement.
The Executive – Quality (Line Chemist) will join Varun Beverages' Quality Control team at the Pathankot plant. The role involves conducting laboratory and on‑line tests, monitoring critical parameters, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with production to resolve quality deviations while upholding food safety and regulatory standards.

- Conduct in‑process and finished‑product quality checks per SOPs and specifications.
- Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses as required.
- Collect samples from production lines and test using approved methods.
- Monitor critical quality parameters throughout manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
- Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective actions with Production and other functions.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP,



and food safety standards.
- Calibrate, maintain, and keep laboratory equipment clean and functional.
- Support internal, customer, and external audits.
- Promote housekeeping and safety practices in lab and production areas.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or related discipline.
- 1–4 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance or Line Quality (FMCG/food & beverage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in chemical analysis and laboratory techniques.
- Ability to interpret and follow SOPs and maintain documentation.
- Valuable problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience handling quality deviations and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
