Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, analysing business processes, preparing functional documentation, and coordinating with UI/UX, development, QA, and project management teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, good understanding of software development processes, and the ability to convert business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, understand, and analyse business and client requirements.
- Conduct requirement discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify business problems, workflows, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Convert business requirements into functional requirements and software specifications.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed module-wise requirements and functional specifications.
- Define user roles, permissions, workflows, validations, notifications, and business rules.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, wireframes, and functional flow documentation where required.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure requirements are translated into practical user interfaces.
- Coordinate with developers to explain requirements and clarify functional questions.
- Work with the QA team to define test scenarios and validate that developed features meet business requirements.
- Review developed modules against approved requirements.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs and product demonstrations with clients.




- Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on scope, timeline, and effort.
- Maintain proper documentation of requirements, revisions, approvals, and project decisions.
- Support project managers in planning, estimation, prioritisation, and delivery.
- Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and potential implementation challenges.
- Participate in UAT and support clients during testing and implementation.
- Ensure effective communication between clients, business teams, and technical teams.

Required Skills

- Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to understand complex business processes and convert them into software workflows.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience in preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application concepts.
- Ability to work with UI/UX, development, QA, and project management teams.
- Strong presentation and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and projects simultaneously.
- Good analytical and logical thinking.

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should have a basic understanding of:

- Web Applications

- APIs and third-party integrations
- Database concepts
- User Roles & Permissions
- Authentication and access control
- Notifications and workflow automation




- Software testing and UAT
- Agile / Scrum methodologies

Knowledge of SQL, API documentation, Postman, Jira, Figma, Draw.io, or similar tools will be an advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA / MCA / equivalent qualification will be an advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of experience as a:

- Business Analyst
- IT Business Analyst
- Functional Consultant
- Product Analyst
- Software Business Analyst
- Functional Business Analyst

Candidates with experience in software development companies, SaaS companies, ERP/CRM implementations, or IT consulting firms are preferred.
