We are looking for a detail-oriented IT QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, defect tracking, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Reproduce, analyze, and validate reported issues.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and testing checklists.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs from a testing perspective.
- Ensure applications meet quality, performance, usability, and functional requirements.
- Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Robust understanding of SDLC and STLC.




- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
- Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of bug life cycle and defect management.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman is preferred.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

- Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of API and database testing.
