Job Description

V Perfumes is looking for a Description Writer to join our e-commerce team in Calicut. You'll create clear, engaging and accurate product descriptions for our website, helping customers discover and choose the right fragrance. This is a great opportunity for freshers who enjoy writing and want to build a career in e-commerce and content. On-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Write product descriptions following a structured content format
- Research and verify product information such as fragrance notes, concentration, fragrance family and other specifications
- Ensure content is accurate, easy to understand and customer-friendly
- Proofread and maintain consistency across product pages
- Update and manage product content on the website




- Bulk upload and update product details
- Work with the SEO and content team to meet basic SEO requirements

Requirements

- Good written English and basic content writing skills
- Positive research skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of SEO is a plus
- E-commerce or website content experience is a plus
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify or website dashboards is a plus
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini is a plus
- Interest in perfumes and fragrances is an advantage
- Freshers with a willingness to learn are welcome to apply
