We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and service-oriented Security Officer who will help maintain a safe and secure environment while delivering warm, professional, and welcoming hospitality.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring hotel premises, implementing security procedures, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with hotel safety standards and operational policies.
What You'll Do
• Monitor hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house areas, entrances, exits, and other designated locations, to ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property.
• Conduct regular security patrols and maintain vigilance throughout the assigned shift.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control points, and surveillance equipment to identify and report suspicious activities.
• Verify the movement of colleagues, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with hotel security procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest or colleague concerns.
• Assist in implementing emergency response procedures, fire safety protocols, evacuation drills, and other life-safety measures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor entries, security checks, and shift handovers.
• Support the enforcement of hotel policies and ensure compliance with established security procedures.
• Coordinate with the Front Office, Engineering, Human Resources, and other departments on security-related matters.
• Handle guest information and security-sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
• Assist in investigations, prepare incident reports, and escalate concerns to the Security Supervisor or Security Manager as required.
• Deliver courteous and qualified service while maintaining a solid security presence throughout the hotel.
