This role is for a CAD/CAM Engineering Developer responsible for designing, developing, customizing, testing, and maintaining engineering software solutions on proprietary/OEM CAD, PLM, or CAE platforms (e.g., CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE or similar in-house/proprietary CAD systems). The developer will work with C, C++, vendor-specific SDKs/APIs and frameworks (such as CAA, RADE or equivalent), and other OEM proprietary applications in related engineering domains. Key responsibilities include building CAD and Engineering automation solutions, Customization, geometry and topology operations, feature modeler extensions, custom data structures, and PLM-integrated engineering applications.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain custom applications on a proprietary CAD/CAM/PLM platform using C, C++, vendor SDKs/frameworks, Object Modeler-style architectures, and related development toolkits.

• Design, document, and implement interface-based components, custom commands, dialogs, state-machine workflows, and reusable modules.

• Design, implement, and optimize C, C++ data structures (e.g.,



trees, graphs, hash maps, linked lists, custom containers) to efficiently represent and manipulate CAD geometry, topology, and engineering data.

• Work with CAD document structures such as parts, assemblies, drawings, containers, and spec-tree/feature-tree objects, regardless of the specific proprietary platform used.

• Build functionality around feature modelers, knowledge-based engineering (rules, checks, parameters), catalog management, and user-defined features (UDFs).

• Implement geometric and topological operations using CAD kernel concepts such as B-Rep, bodies, faces, edges, wires, transformations, extrude, fillet, boolean operations, and surface projections.
