Role Description
The Head of Reporting will lead the Group management reporting agenda within the FP&A; Finance team, ensuring senior leaders have a explicit, accurate and timely view of financial performance. The role is responsible for delivering Group management reporting and flash results, supporting consistent regional reporting, leading flash review meetings with functions and regional teams, and overseeing Group pro forma calculations for actuals and forecasts. The role will partner closely with Group Financial Control, regional finance teams, functional finance leaders and Finance Systems to strengthen reporting quality, data integrity and insight.
This is a senior finance leadership role suited to a qualified finance professional with more than 10 years’ experience, including significant exposure to FP&A;, management reporting, financial control, performance analysis and team leadership in a complex, international organisation.
The role will require to work closely with Group Financial Control, Finance Systems, Finance Business Partners,
functional Finance leaders and regional finance teams across the organisation. The role will directly manage a team of three based in India.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Group Management Reporting and Flash Results
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Group management reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, consistent and focused on the key drivers of performance.
• Own the preparation and delivery of flash results, providing an early and reliable view of monthly financial performance.
• Develop clear analysis of actual performance against budget, forecast and prior periods, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities and emerging trends.
• Work closely with the Planning team to ensure budget and forecast bases are aligned with actuals reporting requirements.
• Maintain a robust reporting timetable, governance framework and quality-assurance process across the monthly reporting cycle.
