Job Description A US based client is looking for a Senior Microsoft Cloud (Azure Entra) Engineer to join their India based team. This person will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, security, and support of enterprise Microsoft cloud, identity, Windows, and endpoint technologies. This individual will serve as a technical leader responsible for Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure infrastructure, Intune, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 integrations across complex hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in identity modernization, domain consolidations, Active Directory and Entra migrations, tenant-to-tenant transitions, automation, and endpoint management. This role will partner closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and application teams to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and simplify legacy Microsoft environments while ensuring resiliency, scalability, and business continuity. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a salary range of 25-35 LPA. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure, Windows engineering, cloud engineering, or Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Advanced expertise with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including hybrid identity, federation, Conditional Access, identity governance, and enterprise application integrations.
Solid experience designing and supporting Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, trusts, DNS, authentication protocols, and multi-domain/hybrid architectures.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including networking, virtual machines, storage, backup, monitoring, disaster recovery, and hybrid connectivity.
Deep expertise administering and engineering Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration management, application deployment, compliance, and endpoint security.
Proven experience leading or supporting Active Directory, Entra ID, domain, or tenant migration initiatives in enterprise environments.




Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience for provisioning, administration, monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiencies.
Experience supporting secure Microsoft 365 integrated services and modern Windows platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 services.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with domain consolidations, inter-forest migrations, identity modernization programs, and large-scale hybrid AD/Entra transformations.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations.
Knowledge of PKI, Certificate Services, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Protection, auditing, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with Windows Autopilot, endpoint security platforms, patch management, enterprise mobility, and modern device deployment strategies.
Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Identity & Access Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
