About the Role
One of our client is looking for a Project Manager who can turn client briefs into clear plans and keep digital marketing projects moving from kickoff to delivery.
You will coordinate work across content, design, social media, SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing, ensuring that teams understand priorities and clients know what to expect.
This role suits someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and spots problems early. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, balancing workloads, and following through on commitments.
What You’ll Do
- Translate client briefs into project plans with clear deliverables, owners, timelines, and approval stages
- Coordinate with content, design, marketing, and external teams to keep work moving and dependencies clear
- Manage day-to-day client communication, clarify requirements, and share timely progress updates
- Maintain project trackers, campaign calendars, meeting notes, and action items so everyone knows what comes next
- Plan workloads with team leads, prioritise competing requests, and flag capacity gaps before deadlines are affected
- Track milestones, identify delays and risks, and agree on practical next steps with the people involved
- Review deliverables against briefs, brand guidelines, and agreed quality standards before client submission
- Manage feedback, revisions, and approvals while keeping the team aligned on the latest requirements
- Monitor project scope, effort, and agreed budgets; flag changes and secure approval before committing to extra work
- Close projects with organised handovers and capture lessons that improve future planning and delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing projects or coordinating delivery in a digital marketing, creative, or agency workplace
- Understanding of digital marketing workflows and how content, design, SEO, and campaign teams work together
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in client conversations
- Ability to turn broad requirements into actionable tasks, realistic timelines, and clear priorities
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects without losing track of details
- Confidence following up on commitments, resolving blockers, and escalating issues at the right time
- Attention to detail when reviewing briefs, deliverables, timelines, and project documentation
- Ability to handle changing requirements calmly and explain their impact on scope, cost, and delivery
- A collaborative approach to team coordination, with accountability for agreed outcomes
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred; relevant practical experience is equally valuable
Knowledge That Will Help
- Project planning, scheduling, and task dependencies
- Resource planning and workload management
- Client servicing and stakeholder communication
- Scope management and change approvals
- Creative production and content review workflows
- Social media, SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing fundamentals
- Project budgets, effort tracking, and delivery reporting
- Quality checks, risk management, and project handovers
Project management training or certifications can be useful, but practical delivery experience and sound judgement matter most.
Tools You May Work With
- Basecamp or similar project management platforms
- Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Google Docs and Google Slides
- Google Drive and shared asset folders
- Google Meet or Microsoft Teams
- Content calendars and campaign planning tools
- Time tracking and workload planning tools
- Canva and creative review tools
- Marketing dashboards and reporting platforms
- ChatGPT and Claude
You should be comfortable maintaining project trackers and learning the tools used by the team. Specialist expertise in every marketing platform is not required.
