Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing for Process Industry, capable of leading costing design across a global, multi-plant, multi-currency landscape.

The candidate must have strong experience in:

- Process Orders (PP-PI)
- Co/By-product costing
- Material Ledger (Actual Costing mandatory)
- Intercompany & Transfer Pricing
- Contribution Margin Analysis (Group reporting alignment)

Product Costing – Process Industry (Mandatory Strong Expertise)

Core Costing Design

- Cost Component Structures aligned to global template
- Costing Variants (plant-specific & group costing)
- Costing Sheets & Overhead design
- Activity Type planning (Utilities, Steam, Power, Waste Treatment)
- Standard Cost Roll-up (CK11N / CK40N)
- Marking & Release governance

Process Industry Specialization

- Joint Production & Equivalence Numbers
- Co-product / By-product allocation
- Yield & Mix variance analysis
- Rework & Scrap costing
- Batch costing
- Process Order settlement
- WIP in continuous manufacturing

Material Ledger & Actual Costing (MANDATORY)

- Multi-level price difference roll-up
- Periodic Unit Price (PUP) calculation
- Actual Cost Component Split




- Inventory revaluation
- Transfer pricing in ML workplace

Global Enterprise Exposure (Critical)

- Multi-currency costing
- Parallel valuation (legal/group/profit center valuation)
- Intercompany manufacturing flows
- Cross-border plant-to-plant transfers
- Internal profit elimination
- Alignment with group reporting structures

Integration Landscape

- PP-PI (Process Orders)
- MM (Split valuation / Batch mgmt)
- SD (Export pricing / rebates / freight)
- FI (Parallel ledger, ML postings)
- Group Reporting alignment

Governance & Leadership

- Lead global design workshops
- Template impact assessment
- Change control & deviation approval process
- Coordinate with regional finance & plant controllers
- Mentor country CO teams

Required Skills

- 8–10 years SAP FICO experience
- Minimum 2 global template implementations
- Strong S/4HANA Material Ledger expertise
- Deep experience in process industry costing
- Exposure to multi-country finance environments

Highly Preferred

- Experience in companies operating across LATAM, EMEA & APAC
- Exposure to global transfer pricing models
- Experience working in matrix organizations
