About the Role

Little Shots by Hema is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our post-production team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop and a good eye for natural skin tones, colours, lighting and premium-quality retouching.

You will primarily work on maternity, newborn, baby and family photographs while maintaining the signature editing style and quality standards of Little Shots by Hema.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and retouch maternity, newborn, baby and family photographs.
- Perform colour correction, exposure correction and white-balance adjustments.
- Maintain natural and consistent skin tones across photographs.
- Perform professional skin retouching without making images look artificial.
- Remove temporary skin imperfections, distractions and unwanted objects when required.
- Perform background cleanup, extension and correction.
- Retouch maternity gowns, fabrics and other details where required.
- Edit newborn photographs carefully while maintaining natural baby skin texture.
- Handle Lightroom batch processing efficiently.
- Perform advanced Photoshop retouching for selected images.
- Maintain consistent editing style across complete client galleries.
- Follow company presets, colour profiles and editing guidelines.
- Organise and manage files according to the company's workflow.
- Complete assigned projects within the required turnaround time.
- Coordinate with photographers and the post-production team for corrections and QC.
- Make revisions based on internal quality-check feedback.

Software Skills Required

Must Have:





- Adobe Lightroom / Lightroom Classic
- Adobe Photoshop
- Camera RAW
- Robust understanding of colour correction and retouching

Good to Have:

- AI-assisted editing and masking tools
- Album design knowledge
- Basic knowledge of photography, lighting and colour management

What We Expect

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a strong eye for detail.
- Understands premium photography editing.
- Prefers natural-looking retouching over excessive smoothing.
- Can maintain consistency across large batches of photographs.
- Can follow an established editing style instead of applying their own style to every project.
- Is comfortable receiving feedback and making corrections.
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Is organised and responsible with client files.

Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years of professional photo-editing experience.

Experience in maternity, newborn, baby, portrait, fashion or wedding photography editing will be an advantage.

Candidates with strong portfolios may also be considered even if they have less experience.

For the practical test, candidates may be provided with sample RAW photographs and asked to demonstrate:

- Colour correction
- Skin-tone correction
- Lightroom processing
- Photoshop retouching
- Background cleanup
- Natural skin retouching
- Overall finishing quality

We are not looking for heavy or artificial retouching.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
