Business Development Manager – Interior

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager – Interior to drive business growth and generate new opportunities in the interior design, furniture, retail, commercial, and turnkey interior projects segment.

The ideal candidate should have strong sales, client handling, lead generation, negotiation, and business development skills, along with a good understanding of interior design and execution processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, digital platforms, and market visits.
- Identify and develop potential clients for interior design, furniture, retail, commercial, and turnkey projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design, estimation, production, and project teams to prepare suitable proposals.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations, and project discussions.
- Prepare and present quotations, commercial proposals, and project presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial conditions to successfully close deals.
- Follow up with leads and prospects regularly and maintain an updated sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, quotations, negotiations,



and conversions.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the respective design/project/production teams.
- Develop long-term business relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Interior Design / Furniture / Turnkey Projects.
- Excellent business development and sales skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Good client relationship management skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.
- Strong networking and market-development skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and coordinate with design and execution teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Interior, Furniture, Architecture, or Construction Sales will be preferred.
