Catering Manager – Fine Dining Restaurant

Grand Entree – Ernakulam, Keralam.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Catering Manager to lead and manage all catering operations for a fine dining restaurant in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-end F&B; service, event execution, team leadership, and guest experience management.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-house and off-site catering events (weddings, corporate gatherings, private parties, etc.) to fine dining standards.

- Manage end-to-end catering operations: menu planning with the chef, costing, staffing, logistics, setup, service, and breakdown.

- Lead, train, and schedule catering staff (captains, servers, stewards, helpers) to ensure consistent, premium service.

- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, propose customized menus, prepare proposals/quotations, and close deals.

- Maintain strict quality, hygiene, and safety standards in line with FSSAI and company SOPs.

- Monitor inventory, equipment, and supplies for catering; coordinate with stores and procurement.

- Track event budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of catering operations.

- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on catering sales,



events, and team performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or related field (BHM, B.Sc. Catering, etc.) is a plus.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in catering/events management, preferably in fine dining restaurants, hotels, or reputed catering companies.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale events (weddings, corporate events, banquets).

- Robust knowledge of F&B; service, menu costing, and event operations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.

- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple events, and lead a team effectively.

- Local knowledge of Ernakulam/Kochi market and vendor network is an advantage.
