WE'RE HIRING | Bakery Operations & Standardisation Manager

Akshay Bakery is looking for an experienced Bakery Operations & Standardisation Manager to help us strengthen our store operations and build a professional operating system that can be replicated across our current and future outlets.

This is not a conventional Store Manager role.

We are looking for someone who has worked in a professionally managed bakery chain, QSR, café chain, supermarket, food retail business or organised retail setting and understands how strong systems, SOPs, checklists and staff training create consistent operations.

What will you be responsible for

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the bakery outlet while also helping us:

• Study and improve existing store operations
• Develop practical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Create opening, closing and daily operational checklists
• Standardise product receiving, display and replenishment
• Implement FIFO/FEFO and stock-control systems
• Reduce wastage, shortages and operational errors
• Strengthen cash-handling and closing procedures
• Improve hygiene, cleanliness and food-safety standards
• Define staff roles and responsibilities
• Train employees and ensure SOP compliance
• Improve visual merchandising and customer experience
• Build reporting and accountability systems
• Coordinate effectively between the store,



production team and management
• Document the complete operating model for implementation across other Akshay Bakery outlets

Who are we looking for

We would especially like to hear from candidates with experience in:

Bakery Chains | QSR | Café Chains | Food Retail | Supermarkets | Organised Retail

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in store operations, staff management, SOP implementation, inventory control, training and operational standardisation.

We are looking for someone who can do more than manage the daily shift.

We want someone who can build systems, train people, establish standards and create an operation that runs consistently without depending on constant owner supervision.

This person will play a key role in developing the Akshay Bakery Store Operating System, which will eventually become the operational blueprint for our future outlets.
