Position: SCM Head (GM / AVP Level)

We are looking for an experienced SCM Head to lead and drive end-to-end Supply Chain Management for a growing Telecom / Broadband organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. SCM Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement the overall SCM strategy aligned with business objectives and network expansion plans.

• Establish SCM policies, processes, SOPs, controls and performance standards.

• Lead Procurement, Warehouse & Inventory, and Logistics functions.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Drive strategic sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations and supplier performance management.

• Lead cost optimization through strategic sourcing, rate contracts, commercial negotiations and supplier consolidation.

• Ensure timely procurement aligned with business and project requirements.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Establish inventory norms, safety stock and replenishment levels.

• Optimize inventory investment by minimizing stock-outs, excess, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

• Ensure inventory accuracy and effective warehouse/material control.

4. Logistics Management





• Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of materials across warehouses, projects, PODs and field locations.

• Optimize transportation costs and logistics processes while maintaining service levels.

5. Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with Network, Projects, Finance and Operations teams for demand forecasting and material planning.

• Align supply plans with business requirements and network deployment schedules.

6. Cost & Performance Management

• Drive SCM cost optimization and savings across procurement, inventory, warehousing and logistics.

• Establish and monitor KPIs covering cost, savings, inventory, supplier performance, delivery and service levels.

• Monitor SCM budgets and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

7. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure adherence to SCM policies, SOPs, internal controls and audit requirements.

• Drive process standardization, automation and continuous improvement across SCM.

- Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates with 20+ years of robust end-to-end SCM experience, preferably within the Telecom / Broadband industry, with proven leadership experience across procurement, inventory, warehouse and logistics operations.
