Reporting Manager: Project Manager / Lead Project Coordinator
Job Type: Full Time (Probation period 6 months)
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, your professional obligations shall be (but not limited to):
1. Site Execution & Coordination:
o Execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting and ELV works at site
o Co-ordinating daily activities with civil, structural and architectural teams
o Ensuring MEP works are aligned with construction sequence and project milestones
2. Drawings & Technical Control:
o Review of drawings, shop drawings and method statements prior to execution
o Identifying clashes and co-ordinating with consultants and contractors
o Ensuring execution as per approved drawings and specifications
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
o Ensuring compliance with IS codes,
NBC norms and local authority requirements
o Conducting inspections, testing and quality checks for MEP works
o Ensuring adherence to site safety practices related to MEP activities
4. Vendor & Contractor Management:
o Supervision of MEP subcontractors and site manpower
o Tracking material approvals, deliveries and installations
o Monitoring productivity and resolving site-level issues
5. Testing & Commissioning:
o Planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities
o Preparation of test reports, as-built drawings and O&M; manuals
o Supporting snag clearance and final handover
6. Reporting:
o Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports
- o Highlighting risks, delays and corrective actions to management
7. Research and development:
o Participation in post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions
o Recommending process improvements for future projects
Required Technical & Soft skills:
Technical Proficiency:
o Robust understanding of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing and firefighting systems
o Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and BOQs
o Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures
o Working knowledge of AutoCAD (BIM exposure is an added advantage)
o Productive working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & Power Point)
Soft skills:
o Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, site teams and stakeholders
o Ability to identify and resolve site-level technical issues
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
o Professional conduct during client meetings and site discussions
Qualifications & Experience:
o B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
o 5–12 years of relevant site execution experience in Industrial / Commercial / Infrastructure MEP projects
