The Qualifications We Seek
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is an advantage
- 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and cash management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with at least one major ERP system, such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience working with offshore or shared-services teams across multiple time zones
- Strong skilled English communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have
- Experience with finance process automation
- Experience with treasury or cash flow forecasting
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-country organizations
Your Daily Tasks
Accounting and Month-End Close
- Manage the month-end close timetable
- Coordinate with the offshore team to review management accounts and variance analyses for management reporting
Receivables and Treasury
- Oversee billing, collections, and cash application and report on receivables aging and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Monitor daily cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Support bank relationships, payments, and treasury administration
Team Coordination and Follow-Up
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for the offshore finance team, assign tasks, and track deliverables through completion
- Maintain a shared tracker of open items, owners, and due dates and escalate when deadlines are at risk
- Review team outputs for accuracy and coach team members to improve quality
Process Improvement and Systems
- Identify manual or inefficient processes and lead improvements, including automation through Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools
- Document processes and maintain internal controls
- Support system implementations and upgrades
Reporting, Audit, and Compliance
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management
- Support external audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance
- Lead ad hoc projects as required
